Job Offer: Head of Social Media – Professional Football League

The Digital Department of the Commercial Subsidiary of the LFP is looking for a Head of Social Media on a permanent contract.

The Digital Department is responsible for the development and execution of the digital roadmap on all Ligue 1 Uber Eats and Ligue 2 BKT digital channels (websites, app, social networks & third-party platforms). The primary responsibility of the digital team is to maximize reach, engagement, lead acquisition and monetization of audiences within the digital ecosystem.

We are looking for a: Head of Social Media on a permanent contract to lead the team in charge of content creation and animation of LFP communities on all social networks.

Descriptions of functions:

Under the direct responsibility of the digital director and in collaboration with the digital editor, the main missions will be as follows:

  • Develop and animate the communities on the social networks of the LFP competitions;
  • Contribute to the objectives set by the digital strategy: mainly in terms of audience and acquisition on current and future social platforms;
  • Guarantee compliance with the editorial line on social networks (format, declination by network, quantity, quality and pressure);
  • Build and launch major promotional campaigns to engage and grow communities;
  • Manage the paid media budget and measure performance according to the objectives set by the digital strategy;
  • Guarantee the proper use of the various management and analysis tools (Emplifi, Radarly) for performance management, monitoring of the online presence and reputation of LFP competitions;
  • Monitor the implementation of gamification operations, contests (Fastory) and partner content on social networks;
  • Follow and animate the matches live on social networks;
  • Ensure the management and continuous training of 4 people (two community managers, a gamification project manager and an influence project manager);
  • Ensure constant monitoring of new trends, new platforms and competitive benchmarks on social networks.

Conditions :

CDI, Executive on a daily basis, remuneration according to experience;
Reimbursement of 50% of the Navigo Pass, and lunch card covered at 50% by the commercial subsidiary of the LFP.

Required Skills :

· Bac+5 training, you have at least 7 to 10 years of experience as Head of Social Media/Social Media Manager, ideally acquired in the sports, media or entertainment sector;

· You have at least 2 years of experience in managing a social media team (community managers, graphic designers, project managers), ideally with experience in match coverage on the pitch;

· Fluent English (oral and written);

· You have a great sense of listening and know how to be adaptable to meet the needs of a large number of interlocutors internally (creation, media, international, communication, CSR, etc.);

· Knowledge of football and LFP competitions is essential.

Required qualities :

· Autonomy and strong organizational skills;

· Relational skills and culture of teamwork;

· Capacity for analysis and synthesis.
