The young badminton player A Estrada Iziar Barcala made her debut yesterday in the highest category of Spanish badminton, forming part of the ranks of Ravachol Pontevedra. She did it in Malaga, where they faced Benalmádena. Barcala played the women’s doubles, along with Maria Torres, who lost in four tight sets, after winning the first. She also played the second women’s singles match against Lucía Galvin, which she won in the fifth set.
