The Spanish rider Marc Márquez (Repsol Honda) has assured that he is “much better” and that his priority this pre-season was “to be physically fit” after his numerous operations and his reappearance last year, and he has been satisfied with the first contact in the official MotoGP test at the Sepang International Circuit.
“Being physically fit was the most important thing for me in this test in Malaysia. I have felt much better and I have been able to have a normal winter. We have worked in a very specific way to improve my sensations in the arm and we have achieved it”, he pointed out in an interview with the official media of his team.
Even so, the one from Cervera is “demanding” and wants “I still want more”. “I have been able to complete three days of testing here in a good way and we still have a month for the Portuguese Grand Prix, which is where I want to be one hundred percent and start in the best way,” he underlined.

“We have a new technical director, Ken Kawauchi, who comes from Suzuki, and he has brought a new concept and ideas. The engineers have collected a lot of information and now we will see if for the Portimao test they can bring something new and some new ideas to help us. to be faster, which is what this sport consists of”, he continued.
Finally, the eighth world champion pointed out that he has never met his teammate Joan Mir on the track, but he trusts in his “talent”. “We have never met Joan on the track.
