On February 12, 1972, the Real Madrid raised his fourteenth Liga of basketball. He did it after beating Breogán on the penultimate day (81-50). With Clifford Luyk as Madrid’s top scorer in the championship, those of Ferrandiz they finished with 21 wins and one loss. That year they won the fifth League in the series of 10 in a row achieved between the 1967/68 and 1976/77 seasons. The double was also achieved by winning the Spanish Cup.
