Good sensations and cautious optimism towards Portimao. Marco Bezzecchi can be satisfied after the three days of official MotoGP tests at Sepang, in which he even led the standings for a long time thanks to the time set on Friday (1’58″470) to then finish in eighth position with a time of 1’58” 363 after the qualifying simulation carried out by some drivers yesterday.
“I’m really happy with how much work we were able to do over the three days. The rain changed our plans a bit on Saturday, but today we were able to try many things on the bike. I have gathered important and meaningful information and I am happy“, declares the Bez on the official channels of the Mooney VR46 Team after the third day of testing in Malaysia.
On the work programme: “I found a good set-up base and then I just made a few modifications to understand the sensations that came from the bike and that I could also exploit in other circuits. I didn’t do the simulation, it was scheduled, but in the end we preferred to carry out these setting tests towards Portugal”.

The next appointment on the agenda is in fact the official test session in Portimao from 11 to 12 March, waiting for the first Grand Prix of the season also scheduled on the Algarve circuit on Sunday 26 March. A great opportunity is looming on the horizon for Bezzecchi, who has an extremely competitive Ducati GP22 at his disposal and can therefore set his sights on prestigious objectives.
