Hütter in the ÖSV squad for combination

The ÖSV has announced its squads for the first two competitions of the 2023 World Ski Championships in Courchevel and Meribel. In the women’s alpine combination, Franziska Gritsch, Ricarda Haaser, Ramona Siebenhofer and, somewhat surprisingly, speed specialist Cornelia Hütter will be at the start on Monday.

Austria will be represented by defending champions Marco Schwarz, Vincent Kriechmayr, Stefan Babinsky, Raphael Haaser and Johannes Strolz on Tuesday (both 11:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. live on ORF1).

Hütter has already competed in five combined competitions in the World Cup, the last in December 2016 in Val d’Isére. At the World Championships in France, a Super-G is run first, followed by a slalom.
