• Premier League vice-leaders Manchester City scored four goals and celebrated a convincing victory over Bournemouth – 4:1.
• Kevin de Bruyne returned to the Manchester team after recovering from an injury and missing one match, but he watched the match from the bench without going to the field, but Bernardo Silva, Riyad Mahrez and Kyle Walker, who played a full match in Leipzig, remained in the reserve. The latter two entered the fray in the second half.
• The visitors worked almost like clockwork in the first half, scoring every 15 minutes – with Julian Alvarez, Erling Holland and Phil Fowden all scoring in the 15th, 29th and 45th minutes.
• It was the Norwegian’s 27th goal this season. It is a new record of the City club in the Premier League. Previously in 2014/2015 Sergio Aguero scored 26 goals in the season.
• At the start of the second half, after Alvarez’s kick, the ball hit Chris Mepham, changing the direction of the flight and giving a four-goal lead.
• At the very end of the game, Bournemouth managed to score an honorable goal. Rodri unsuccessfully tried to send the ball outside his own penalty area and it went to Jefferson Lerma. The Colombian struck the ball from the middle of the penalty area into the net of Ederson’s guarded goal.
• “City”, having played one game more, is two points behind the leading team “Arsenal”, while “Bournemouth” is second to last in the 20-club competition with 21 points.
• The Manchester team will play their next Premier League match on March 4, hosting Newcastle. In the next round, Bournemouth is scheduled to visit the capital with the leader “Arsenal”.
Manchester City have now failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 6 games. Their last clean sheet came against Arsenal in the FA Cup on January 27th.

• In Saturday’s final match, “Liverpool” visited the “Selhurst Park” stadium in London, where they failed to defeat the local “Crystal Palace”, the match ended in a goalless draw 0:0.
• “Liverpool” overtook Brighton in the tournament table, rising to seventh position, but the Londoners remain in 12th place.
