How did you manage to adapt so quickly to European football?
It took me a while, more than a month, but I found good people here, colleagues who speak Spanish and they helped me better fit in with the group. After some time I was getting minutes and I was confident because of the opportunity they were giving me, all of that was helping me with a better adaptation.
Is this the best season of your career?
Yes, last year I reached the middle of the season, I scored two goals and some assists, this time I did the preseason and with that I got in tune for all the competitions that came our way. For now this is one of the seasons that I will not forget.
What do you think are the strengths for your success?
I think it has been the perseverance and discipline that I have had quite a bit, the truth is that it has taken me to a very high level. I am also a person with a lot of self-criticism, after the games I see the plays and he highlighted what I consider is not good.
An injury cut short the great moment you had been having with Aris, how do you feel right now?
Correct, I have discussed it with several people that it came very well with the team, but the injury stopped me. Now I’m recovering and let’s hope to God that on Sunday I can play again.
Did you fall like a glove to your team, apparently everything has been happiness?
I get along very well with all my colleagues. I am a charismatic person who is happy, I like to convey good things to people. There is a strong link with the club.
Are you the one who sets the pace in the dressing room and trips?
I am the DJ, the one who plays music everywhere.
Greek soccer has become a new horizon for Honduras. What do you think of that?
The Greek league is very competitive, I don’t like to talk, many say it’s not a big deal or similar comments, but for elite players to come to play here it’s because it attracts attention. In your case, you have already rubbed shoulders with players of the quality of Marcelo or James Rodríguez, how has that experience been? They are players with whom I grew up watching them on television and winning the Champions League and look now they have marked me or I have marked them. Dreams come true, I never imagined that one day I would be able to play against them.
Did you have any personal experience with any of them?
We played three games in a row against Olympiacos and in the penultimate game I changed shirts with James Rodríguez. I asked him, shall we change shirts? and he told me yes, look I’m not very 17 and I felt very happy. I hope to do the same with Marcelo.
What do you envision for your future?
For now I am focused on continuing to work with the team, scoring many goals and growing as a person. I want to continue improving so that the things I have in mind turn out and I hope that in the next transfer market I will jump to another league.
What league do you like?
I really like the Premier League, it has a very high pace of play, but everything is step by step and I don’t want to rush. Spanish football is also very nice.
On the case of Edwin Rodríguez. How do you see his return to the country?
Unfortunately, things did not work out for the dwarf, but he made the decision to return, hopefully he can have his revenge and break it.
I know that the decisions are personal, but many believe that it was rushed. Do you see it like that?
When he told me that everything was closed, I told him that I supported him in everything. God willing that in a year we will have him here again.
Did you give him advice?
Yes, we talked a lot and he had a very bad time because he didn’t play and that can make any player desperate.
What did he tell you before returning to the country?
He wanted to play again and in Olympia he will surely have that opportunity to show himself.

Representing Honduras has always been my dream and it will be whenever I have a calling. I hope that the legionnaires can do things very well when it is our turn to be summoned.

No, I have only spoken to the manager Luis Brevé about the Canadian visa. We hope we can be there. The fans trust a lot in what you can do with Honduras
How do you see the challenge?
It’s a very nice responsibility, in the past I don’t know how I would rate myself, I feel like I’ve done good things and not so much, but you never want to be wrong, let alone been in the national team. I’m going to work and try my best.
Is a rematch coming this year?
I see everything as revenge because I have had the opportunity and things have not worked out for me.
