Great success of the Santa Lucía-Gran Canaria U-14 Children’s Tournament

Ended with great success first edition of the Tournament swing basket U-14 St. Lucia – Gran Canariawhere 120 Children’s players enjoyed 23 intense Basketball games during 4 days in the excellent Los Llanos Pavilion facilities and of the flag of the Union of Neighborhood (St. Lucia).

This first and successful edition lowered the curtain with the Closing Ceremony and awards ceremony by the organization (Santa Lucía Suresanta) and its collaborators, the Saint Lucia City Hallthe Department of Sports of the Island Council of Gran Canaria and the Island Basketball Federation of Gran Canariaas well as its sponsors (BP el Taro, Centro Comercial Atlántico de Vecindario, Autoescuela Tamarán, WIBO and Café Sucre).

From last Friday the 17th to Monday the 20th of February, Saint Lucia has become the epicenter of National Basketball, where a large part of the best children’s talents have displayed their technical skills, giving a great show to the large audience that has gathered in the facilities to enjoy best TRAINING BASKETBALL.

Baxi Ferrol, Adareva Tenerife, Spar Gran Canaria, Gran Canaria, Basket Tara and the Santa Lucia Suresanta They have put their best promises on the court, playing with great sportsmanship, as well as with great energy and effort in each of the matches. The CAMPEONAS gimp went to Spar Gran Canaria that beat Adareva de Tenerife in a grand final that never gave up in the 40 minutes played.

Luther King Tenerife, Canterbury School, Basket Tara and Santa Lucía Suresanta have done the same in the men’s category, enjoying this impressive event, on and off the track. In this first edition, the title of CHAMPION went to the showcases of the Canterbury School, which defeated Luther King of Tenerife in a disputed final.

All the participants and their families have thanked Santa Lucía Suresanta in many ways for the love and treatment received from the impressive organization and, in turn, the sports entity has thanked them for their confidence in this new project, as well as To Collaborators and Sponsors, since without them it would have been impossible to carry it out.

Likewise, the organization would like to thank all the volunteers for their involvement in this first edition, as well as each and every one of the people who have helped this exciting project to come to an end so successfully.
