The Pavelló Congost de Granollers has been the venue of the Absolute Master (n4) of Granollers 2023 on February 4 and 5, where more than 80 players from the highest national category have been cited. Highlighting the golden double achieved by Fran Olivares (IBI) and Elena Lorenzo (Drop Valencia).

In the Women’s Singles category, the victory was for Sonia Martínez (City of Villalba) who defeated Ana Caballero (Alicante Intercity) in the final by 21-19, 17-21 and 21-17. The other semifinalists have been Nelly Iriberri (CB Belmecher) and Adriana Rissi (Chamartin).
In the Men’s individual, Pablo Abian (CB IES La Orden) has asserted his ballot as favorite, although he had to work hard to beat Marc Cardona (Pitius) in the final by 17-21, 21-11 and 21- fifteen. In the semifinals, Abian has beaten the player Miguel Esteve (Alicante Intercity) by 21-14 and 21-12, while Cardona has done the same against Carlos Iglesias (Portmany) 21-13 and 21-14.
In the women’s doubles, the gold medal went to the couple formed by Claudia Leal and Elena Lorenzo (Drop Valencia) who beat Ana Caballero and Elena Paya (Alicante Intercity and El Campello) in the final by 21-13 and 21 -17. Macarena Izquierdo and Carmen María Jiménez (Pitius) have reached the semifinals.
In the Men’s Doubles modality, the winners have been Fran Olivares and Jaume Perez (IBI and Drop Valencia) and second classified Pablo and Javier Abian (CB IES La Orden and Ibiza BC) by 21-5 and 21-19. Carlos Iglesias and Marcos Rodriguez (Portmany) and Alvaro Moral and Enrique Navarro (Caser Clear Madrid and Ciudad de Villalba) have reached the semifinals.
Finally, in the Mixed Doubles modality, the couple formed by Fran Olivares and Elena Lorenzo (IBI and Drop Valencia) has won the gold medal, beating Jaume Perez and Claudia Leal (Drop Valencia) in the final by a close 15 -21, 21-19 and 21-16. Semifinalists have been Marc Martín and Paula Llavero (Pitius and Ibiza) and Ricardo Retting and Carmen María Jiménez (Portmany and Pitius).
