The Governor of the State, Miguel Ángel Navarro Quintero, spoke about the renovations that have been carried out in the well-known La Loma de Tepic park, so that it can be enjoyed by the people of Nayarit who come on different days to spend unforgettable moments with their families.
The state executive mentioned that the liked Little Train was put into operation, taking it out of the abandonment in which it had been plunged by different government administrations, the tartan track was also completely rehabilitated, which today is used by hundreds of people who exercise daily for his journey.
On the other hand, he reiterated the respect and admiration for athletes from Nayarit, who have praised our state for their excellent performance. With this, he informed that the Niños Héroes Gymnasium in Parque La Loma will continue to keep its name, but the basketball court will be called Gustavo Ayón in honor of the international player, whose origin is the municipality of Compostela, while the court of the other sports space Ricardo López Verde, will bear the name of Blanca García after the outstanding volleyball athlete, also from Nayarit.
“Here in La Loma, the 2 courts change their names, the volleyball court will bear the name of Blanca García and the basketball court; Gustavo Ayón with great pride on the part of all Nayarits, we recognize Gustavo. How much was invested? Around 30 million pesos were invested between the two.”
Dr. Navarro Quintero recalled that the work carried out in the administration that he heads is to make Nayarit the state that its inhabitants deserve and recalled that all growth must go hand in hand with better spaces that show their true potential.
