The two teams are separated in the standings by just 2 points. Givova, together with Germani Brescia, has 14 points, Gevi, with Verona and Treviso, 12 points.

The two teams faced each other last January 2, in the thirteenth day of the Championship, with the great success of Givova for 96 to 61. Jordan Howard was Gevi’s best scorer with 14 points.

Panettone statement

“The derby allows me to say how proud I am to be coach of this team that every day “slams” in training to become better. We know we have to make a quantum leap, and that’s why we need to “tear the ticket” to raise the level of our trust. I am convinced that this would allow us to have the necessary continuity in the continuation of the championship. Entering the match with great determination, with mental hardness and continuity in every quarter, as a goal to attack every moment of the match itself. The hard core from which to start must be the one-on-one defense, the work on the blocks up to the outside, these guarantees to improve our shooting percentages in attack. We represent Napoli and its fans, and the first to transmit these values are all the members of the staff, and this must give us an extra charge of energy for the whole match.”
