Formula E and Tata Communications announce multi-year collaboration

Already a partner of Formula 1, Tata Communications becomes the official provider of broadcast services for the Formula E world championship. An announcement made this weekend, on the sidelines of the Greenko Hyderabad E-Prix 2023 in India.

Under the new multi-year deal, Tata Communications will deliver high-definition, high-resolution, high-speed live streaming content to viewers around the world, as part of the new remote (from London) production of the races live from Formula E, reducing the typical environmental impact of major international sporting events live on TV.

Tata Communications’ technologically advanced platform will broadcast over 160 live video and audio signals from Formula E races across continents in milliseconds. This new lightning-fast race broadcast is supported by the specially trained experts of Tata Communications, who provide end-to-end global managed services 24 hours a day across all 16 races of the season. Tata Communications and Formula E are also working together to enrich the motorsport fan experience.
