Although Latvia is once again threatened by a thaw and forecasters are afraid of the onset of meteorological spring, motor sportsmen are not flinching, but are preparing for the next battle.
Currently the organizer of the Pilskalni track Maris Lićis reports: “There are no thoughts of canceling or rescheduling the competition. The documentation is already arranged, we are ready in this respect. We are waiting for participants! As for the track and the surface, everything seems fine at the moment. Even if it will be +1 or +2 degrees during the days, the promised frost at night will do its job so that the fights can take place. At the moment, it seems that the autocross will have to run without studs, so far there is no indication that the layer of snow and ice could grow so that studded tires could be used. But we are getting ready!”
