Former Spanish national soccer player Marcos Alonso Pena, father of FC Barcelona full-back of the same name, has died at the age of 63 after a long illness. This was announced by the Catalan club on Thursday.
Alonso moved from Atletico Madrid to Barcelona in 1982 and won the league, cup and supercup there. He made 22 appearances for the Spanish national team.
