“Hi Erick, hi my friend. Congratulations and best wishes for Indonesia. Hope we meet again,” continued Marco Materazzi, former defender of Italy and Inter Milan.
“Hi Erick Thohir, John Terry is here. I just want to congratulate you and wish you and Indonesian football all the best. I also hope to work with you again. Good luck,” John Terry, a former Chelsea and England national team defender, joined in. prayer.
“Hi Erick, congratulations and best wishes for Indonesian football,” Inter Milan legend Javier Zanetti also commented.

Erick Thohir himself was elected as General Chair of PSSI at the PSSI Extraordinary Congress (KLB), 16 February. He immediately worked quickly, among other things, promising to eradicate the football mafia, improve the performance of the Indonesian National Team, and help the welfare of the referees. Many also urged that the Kanjuruhan Tragedy be resolved.
