End of season for rookie Ryan Rollins in Golden State

NBA – The Warriors rookie suffers from a stress fracture in the fifth metatarsal of his right foot, the same injury that deprived him of the Summer League last summer.

Definitely, Ryan Rollins is not varnished on the physical level for his first season in the NBA. Indeed, for the second time in barely eight months, the rookie of the Warriors suffers from a stress fracture in the fifth metatarsal of his right foot, the famous fracture of Jones.

The first injury was detected last summer, during a routine medical visit a week after the Draft, and forced him to draw a line under the Summer League. The 20-year-old full-back had not had surgery, and managed to recover in time for training camp at the end of September.

This time, the leaders learned the lesson, since the club announced that Ryan Rollins will play on the pool table this Wednesday

, to heal properly from this second fracture to the same bone. His rookie season is therefore officially over.

Absent from Steve Kerr’s rotation with the “big boys” (5.2 minutes in 12 games), the former Toledo spent time with the Santa Cruz Warriors in the G-League, where he shot 18.6 points at 52%, 3.1 rebounds and 2.8 passes.
