Dani Pedrosa Believes Sprint MotoGP Will Benefit Marc Marquez

BOLASPORT.COM – MotoGP legend, Dani Pedrosa, sees sprint race benefit racers who “have explosive power”. One name he mentioned was Marc Marquez.

Race sprintor as it is officially called sprint MotoGP, is the new attraction for the 2023 MotoGP season.

This year each MotoGP racing series will contain two races, namely the race great price as usual on Sunday and sprint on Saturday.

Sprint will fill the Saturday afternoon local time slot previously used for qualifying.

The difference between the sprint and the main race is only in the duration where the number of laps sprint only half of the race great price.

Not all racers are happy with the addition of this race session.

Even though the duration was less than the third free practice it replaced, the pressure felt by the drivers remained as high as during the race.

However, some drivers actually happy. Apart from preferring competitions over tests, the short duration of this competition presents its own opportunities.

Dani Pedrosa predicts that the two racers who will most likely dominate the Sprint session are Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) and Jorge Martin (Pramac Racing).
