After having completed the youth academy of SC Feyenoord, Martina played successively at RBC, RKC Waalwijk and FC Twente. He then moved to England, where he played for Southampton and Everton. After a loan at Stoke City, Martina played for Feyenoord and Go Ahead Eagles for a short time.
Last week Martina was on an internship in Breda and he apparently managed to make enough of an impression to convince the technical staff. The 33-year-old defender is expected to add more experience and balance to the back line. Martina: “I hope to be able to support this young team with my experience and help the club in the next steps”.
