COMPANY / Sara Zamora publishes the album “Time” on Friday, February 10

Sara Zamora presents “TIME”, an album that has been in the making for three years, cooked over a slow fire, like everything that is well-founded in this life.

Conceived in the midst of a pandemic, it contains ten original songs composed by Sara Zamora herself, with the collaboration of composers and pianists Mike Martin and Pedro Contreras, with the exception of the song “Judo” which is a composition by Aarón Sáez. Juan Tae “El Niño de Mula” has been the producer and musical director. The arrangements in the choirs by Xiluva Tomás and in the winds by Gustavo Díaz Luque.

Recorded at Arde el Arte studios in Murcia, with Raúl de Lara as sound engineer. The new work of the Murcian artist brings together a wide variety of styles, although they all have a common denominator: the American Pop-Soul sound of the 90s. Always seasoned with the Gospel choirs of Belter Souls and a section of horns designed to prop up a tremendously contagious rhythm.

This is a stylistic leap with respect to “Do it”, his first album, which contained a more jazzy and leisurely air. Meticulous arrangements, a scrupulous production and a superb performance by great musicians such as Sergio Bernal (drums), Juan Tae (bass), Roberto Lavella (Guitar), Belter Souls (Choirs), Mike Martin (piano), Pepe Pérez, Pepe Varas and Antonio López “Bug” (winds).

Both the composition and the execution of the songs reveal a musical maturity that Sara Zamora has cemented through hard work and an overflowing illusion of inhabiting the same musical space as figures such as Witney Houston or Etta James.

“Time”, the new album by Sara Zamora, available on Digital Platforms and Department Stores from Friday, February 10.
