Christian Atsu, found dead in the rubble of the earthquake in Turkey

Christian Atsusoccer player Hatayspor who played for Málaga, has been found lifeless in the rubble of the terrible earthquake he suffered Turkey. The player had been missing since then and his club confirmed the sad news this Saturday.

“The funeral of our footballer Christian Atsu, who lost his life under the rubble, is on his way to being sent to his hometown, Ghana. We will not forget you, Atsu. Peace be with you, beautiful person. There are no words to describe our sadness. REST IN PEACE ATSU,” Hatayspor wrote on their Twitter account.

At first, some media published that the footballer had been found alive, but as the days went by it became known that this had not been the case and that the player was still missing. This Saturday, his body was found lifeless. Atsu, who had 31 years and played for Hatayspor, he began his career at Port and from there he went to several teams: Rio Ave, Chelsea, Vitesse, Everton, Bournemouth, Málaga, Newcastle (his longest period, five years) and Al-Raed.

During his time at Málaga, he played twelve games in LaLiga 15-16, in which he scored two goals in a team coached by Javi Grace and that also had players like Kameni, Miguel Torres, Camacho, Recio, Albentosa, Amrabat

The earthquakes that shook Turkey and Syria on February 6 they have already left more than 35,000 dead.
