Sainz Jr. began by warning: “I have prepared hard this winter and we are ready for the challenge. It’s incredible to finally be here at the presentation, on this circuit, with this story, these fans. It’s the only team in Formula 1 that has this atmosphere and I love introducing the car like that.”
For Leclerc, “we’ve had two difficult years, but we’re second in drivers and manufacturers. We’ve tried to minimize the car’s weaknesses and the goal is to win. It’s what motivates us, we’re looking forward to winning the championship.” Carlos boasted “of the team atmosphere. Spanish and Italians are very close. I live here perfectly, but I avoid the antipasti so as not to gain kilos. It’s the only thing I avoid, because I can only eat one plate and I have a terrible time.”
