Bayern II beats Haching: Pointe in injury time – sports

Anyone who thinks that the break in the Bundesliga, due to the winter World Cup in Qatar, was quite long, should draw a comparison with the Bavarian regional league: the hibernation lasted a full three months and only ended on Friday it started again – and with a wild game in the Grünwalder Stadion: In wet and cold weather, FC Bayern’s second team defeated leaders SpVgg Unterhaching 2-1 (1-1) with a goal in injury time.

First of all, both teams paused and thought of former coach Rainer Ulrich, who trained many Bayern talents over many years and died on January 9 at the age of 73 – Bayern amateur supporters honored him with several banners. Then things started quickly, Frans Krätzig missed Bayern’s first chance (7′), two minutes later Grant-Leon Rados scored the opening goal when, after a cross from Angelo Brückner and a skillful lay-off from Timo Kern, he scored the first goal :0 shot. The much more experienced Hachinger came back quickly, however, after preparatory work by Niclas Anspach and Patrick Hobsch, Manuel Stiefler didn’t give Bayern goalkeeper Johannes Schenk a chance to defend himself (14th).

The final phase begins with two sending offs

A back and forth developed with chances for both sides; Things got dramatic in the closing stages: Hachings Stiefler saw the red card for a violent tackle in midfield, as did Bayern’s Arijon Ibrahimovic, who practiced vigilantism and brutally pushed Hachinger to the ground (88′). And then the Munich side, who were getting stronger, also scored the late winning goal: The Korean Hyun-ju Lee rounded SpVgg goalkeeper René Vollath, who was rushing out of his goal, and circled the ball past the struggling Josef Welzmüller into the net (90+3). The rest was a big red bunch of cheers in the rain of Giesing.

Haching, however, at least maintained first place in the table: pursuers Würzburger Kickers did not get more than a 1-1 draw against Türkgücü Munich at home and failed to catch up with the leaders.
