Munich (SID) – Telekom Baskets Bonn have initially drawn level with table leaders Alba Berlin after winning in the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL). The Baskets won their home game against Syntainics MBC Weißenfels on Wednesday with 91:57 (56:20). Alba played one game less.
The favored Bonners didn’t let any tension arise from the start and already decided the game at the break. In the middle of the second quarter, coach Tuomas Iisalo’s team was already leading 43:9. The best scorer of the game was the Bonn center Lukas scratches with 16 points.
Bonn is tied with Berlin on points with the win, but has played a game more. The defending champion will only play in the league again on March 4 due to his games in the BBL Cup and the EuroLeague.
