“B.LEAGUE U16 CHALLENGE CUP 2023” Notice of Tournament Results

Public Interest Incorporated Association Japan Professional Basketball League (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, Chairman: Shinji Shimada, hereinafter referred to as “B.LEAGUE”) will be held from Saturday, February 18 to Sunday, February 19, 2023 at the Okinawa Arena (Okinawa We are pleased to announce that the “B.LEAGUE U16 CHALLENGE CUP 2023” was held in Okinawa City) and the Okinawa Prefectural Miku Technical High School won the championship.

This tournament has been held five times in the past as the “B.LEAGUE U15 CHALLENGE CUP”, but with a view to inviting overseas teams in the future, we are also planning to build consistent guidance for each team’s U15 and U18. Therefore, this is the first time that the entry age category has been raised from 15 to 16 (*1-1, 1-2).

*1-1: Team JBA registered as a B.LEAGUE U15/U18 competitor (excluding B.LEAGUE recommended teams)
*1-2: Players born on or after April 2, 2006
