ATP > Djokovic’s return date is known

If Novak Djokovic won the Australian Open while injured, he will have to heal his 3 centimeter tear in his left hamstring before resuming competition.

The Serb has a little less than a month to rest because his return is scheduled for the ATP 500 in Dubai, from February 27 to March 4.

He should then leave the circuit for a few weeks before the clay court season because his vaccination status does not allow him to enter the American territory where he would have liked to play the Masters 1000 in Indian Wells and Miami in March.

As a reminder, the end of the state of health emergency will end on May 11 in the United States. The world number 1 will therefore only be able to return to the United States next summer for Cincinnati and the US Open, which in itself is excellent news.
