At just eight years old, Conrado Rossi was U-12 champion in the National Minors

The player representing the Junín Tennis Training Center won the contest in a category higher than that corresponding to his age. In addition, he was runner-up in Sub-10. Players from all over the area came to Junín to play the contest supervised by the AAT.

The hotbed of tennis in Junín continues to bear fruit. Yesterday, when he just turned eight years old, Conrado Rossi became champion of the National Youth Tournament that was held in Sarmiento, in the Under-12 category.

In this way, the player from the children’s division, a native of Vedia, won the title in a category higher than that corresponding to his age. In addition, he was left with the sub-championship in Sub-10. It was the first championship corresponding to the 2023 calendar of the Argentine Tennis Association (AAT) that took place in Junín, with the presence of players from the city and the entire Region.

“We closed a successful National for Minors, the first since the preseason, and we are very satisfied with the call and the results obtained by the boys,” said Leandro Verón, director of the Junín Tennis Training Center, which operates on the Club’s courts. Athletic Sarmiento.

“Our city once again positioned itself this weekend as a reference center for tennis in the area and in the entire Province, and the idea is to continue on this path. Positive results for Junín

Junin tennis closed with positive results the first National Tournament for Minors, which was held last weekend at the facilities of Club Atlético Sarmiento (CAS), with the organization of the Junín Tennis Training Center.

In addition to Conrado Rossi’s Under-12 title, there were other outstanding numbers for the local representatives, such as Franco Coppa, Tiziano Giles and Thiago Correa.

In total, more than 60 players from the entire area came to Junín to play the championship, while 16 represented the Junín Tennis Center.
