Ana Pérez, new Global Head of Events at MARCO

The MARCO agency continues to strengthen its internal structure in parallel to its expansion plans, appointing new managers for some of the key business units such as events, led by Ana Pérez as Head of Events; the Media Relations division with David Martín as Head of Media Relations and the Spanish market, with the new figure of Head of Spain, by Víctor Castell.

Ana Perez joined MARCO in November 2021 as a Senior Consultant. To date, Ana has had a leading role in the logistics coordination and global management of projects that range from the creation of the creative concept, the preparation of the proposal and the budget, to the production of different events in different sectors and scenarios. In the last year, campaigns such as “El Monólogo del Vidrio” stand out, carried out together with ANFEVI / Friends of Glass, winner of a Silver Mercury Award and nominated in the next SABER Awards; the Danone stand at the last Alimentaria fair; different events for institutional clients, among which the Junta de Andalucía stands out, or the different premieres carried out for Prime Video. Her growth in this short period of time has been parallel to the evolution of the agency, and of the events department itself, concluding in this appointment as Head of Events.

As the new Head of Media Relations, david martin will be in charge of coordinating the media relations areas of the markets in which MARCO operates. In addition, it will try to provide fluidity to MARCO’s relationship with the different media groups in a 2023 of great importance for the agency. David came to MARCO two years ago after having developed his career in the main communication media in Spain, such as Atresmedia, Mediaset or Movistar. In addition, he has also been linked to the audiovisual content creation area of ​​Real Madrid CF. and Euronews, as well as for communication agencies such as the Office Européen de Communication, in Lyon (France) or Madison MK. He has also developed different jobs for the Spanish Badminton Federation or the Association of Victims of Terrorism and with brands such as the National Futsal League, Panini or Munich.

Finally, Victor Castell He will assume the responsibilities of Head of Spain, representing one of MARCO’s main markets and business units. Víctor, who started at MARCO’s Barcelona office as an intern, has developed his career in the agency’s Reputation area for the last 14 years. During this period, he has worked in the strategic management and Media Relations of the Corporate part of some of the main projects carried out by the consultancy, such as the launches in Spain of Netflix, DAZN or realme, among others. In the institutional area, he has been responsible in Spain for clients such as the Union for the Mediterranean, in addition to being in charge of the communication of all the contents at a global level for COP22 from Marrakech. In parallel, he has been directly involved in the development of the Technology, Logistics and Fintech teams and accounts as Corporate Director.
