After his long break, Alexander Bommes (47) will soon be back on TV. The comeback plan is clear.
Already on 18./19. The ARD moderator should be seen again in the “Sportschau” in March. In the DFB Cup Fans can look forward to him alongside Bastian Schweinsteiger on April 4th.
The ARD presenter was absent for the first time in November 2022, and then canceled the World Cup in Qatar and the Handball World Cup in Poland and Sweden. He explained: “After a year in which I, like many people, had to accept some health restrictions, I want to complete the further recovery.”
The ARD recently said: “The sports show is currently planning again with Alexander Bommes from March. If he is not fit again by then, we will fill the relevant programs with other presenters.”
On April 4 from 8:15 p.m., ARD will broadcast the quarter-finals of the DFB Cup between the FC Bayern and SC Freiburg live. Bastian Schweinsteiger should then be seen at Bommes’ side.
