Yorman Rodríguez was the MVP of the LVBP wild card series

In a roster brimming with experience and expertise, Yorman Rodríguez broke through and became the cornerstone of the success of the Tigres de Aragua in the wild card series of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP).

His brilliant performance, which resulted in an extraordinary average of .556, allowed him to become the Most Valuable Player of this instance that allowed the Bengalis to become the fifth classified in the Round Robin.

Yorman Rodríguez, who barely played nine games in the regular round, saw it clearly in the series in Macuto. He finished 5-for-9 with a double and a Grand Slam, four runs scored and six RBIs.

“I hadn’t had the opportunity to play in Venezuela… I’m showing that I can do the job,” he declared.
