The Xàtiva Badminton Club played last Saturday the second day of the CV Sports Games in the children’s category, held in the Campello. Twelve athletes from the club, from the sub-13 and sub-15 categories, won a 46% of victories in the singles event and 33% in the doubles event. From the club they recognize that the results “were not excessively brilliant”, although they point out that half of the athletes competed in a higher category than theirs and that some of the under-15s are in their first year at the club and are starting their career. training. Badminton Xàtiva affirms that “we will continue working to improve the performance of our athletes for the next events on the calendar”.
