The Seychois saw ES Bruilhois come back on their heels, winning at Eyres Fargues Coudures (82-69). The Aubiacais thus give themselves a little air in the fight for the maintenance which promises to be very tight. The reservists of the AC2B, meanwhile defeated on their floor against Lons (78-71), will have a hard time maintaining themselves if the descents of nationals are numerous. And that is likely to be the case.
Men’s Regional 2
Three out of three for the Lot-et-Garonnais in this pool this week, all of whom emerged victorious from their meetings. If the Agen BC reserve will have a hard time avoiding relegation, GAB 2 and Samazan are more than ever in the race to join the regional elite. The GAB, winner of the ESMS (70-65), one of its direct competitors, even offered itself the luxury of at least one joker by the end of the season.
Men’s Regional 3
Hen D. The first three of this pool won. Penne at La Réole (91-71), Boudy against Périgueux (112-54) and Villeneuve 2 on the Temple floor (88-67). We will certainly have to wait for the direct confrontations between these teams to know the two lucky winners for Regional 2. Also note the defeat of Seyches 2 at Sanilhac (106-63), and the capital card of the BBM reserve against CA Brive (161-16).
Hen E. Still undefeated after their victory at Morcenx (78-58), the Portais pranced at the top of this pool. Behind, Sérignac by beating Eyres (113-57) and Puymirol by winning at Malaussanne, are in the fight for the place of runner-up.
Women’s Pre-National
The victorious GAB in Bizanos (70-63) takes an additional option for accession to national 3. If we add the victory of Basket Luy Adour on the floor of Saint Delphin, it almost looks like the perfect weekend for girls of Vanessa Ronc who will compose one of the two tickets for the national level very soon.
Women’s Regional 2
Hen B. Traveling to Feytiat, third in the pool, the Villeneuvois leader of the UBVP once again showed character and showed his superiority by winning 61-47. We do not see who will be able to stop a formation which will certainly find itself in the regional elite next season.
Hen C. Defeats 76-69 at the leader Haut-Mauco, the AC2B linings are now in danger and will have to close ranks in order to stay in Regional 2. We must not leave a point on the way and regain momentum to avoid a cruel disappointment at the end of the championship.
