Rafael Nadal is said “mentally destroyed” after his defeat at 2e round of the Australian Open against Mackenzie McDonald. He was dejected but also worried with this hip injury which will keep him away from the courts for six to eight weeks.
Yet despite the disappointment, the man with 22 Grand Slam titles retained his legendary class at Melbourne airport before flying to Spain. Smiling at his fans, Rafa took the time to sign autographs and take photos.
An attitude full of respect which we are used to with Rafa but which we must continue to emphasize.
