Unexpected support for Eric Bailly

A few hours after the meeting between Hyères and OM (0-2), the president of the Var club gave some news of Almike Moussa N’Diaye. During the match, the latter had been forced out of the field following a very violent tackle from Eric Bailly.

More than 24 hours after the Coupe de France match between Hyères FC and Olympique de Marseille, the concern is less important. This meeting had indeed been enamelled by the very violent tackle of Eric Bailly on Almike Moussa N’Diaye. The violence of the shock was so strong that the National 2 player had to be placed in intensive care. If this measure was taken as a precaution, it still shows the seriousness of this situation.

Fortunately, things seem to have settled down for Almike Moussa N’Diaye. On RMCMourad Boudjellal, president of the Var-based club, was indeed reassuring.“He was admitted to intensive care at the North Hospital in Marseille, we were quite worried yesterday. He is affected in the lungs, ribs and liver, said Boudjellal on the state of health of his player. Today things are better, he is out of danger. He is kept in the hospital, I will go see him tomorrow”, thus informed the former coach of Racing Club de Toulon.

Eric Bailly has apologized many times

Far from charging Eric Bailly, Mourad Boudjellal rather wanted to salute the attitude of the Marseille leaders and the French defender: “The OM people were spot on. Pablo Longoria came to see him today. They came to apologize, for us it’s really a fact of the game. […]Unfortunately there are accidents in sport, underlined the president of Hyères FC. It was a high-stakes match, with commitment. In no case will we say that it is a voluntary act or an attack”. According to the boss of Hyères FC, Eric Bailly was visibly very affected by the situation and “apologized 150 times”.
