Mexicali, Baja California.- With Tabasco as the main venue and four sub-venues, the National Sports Commission (CONADE) carried out the distribution of the 51 sports disciplines in which it will compete in this 2023 in the maximum celebration of children’s and youth sports of Mexico, which is the CONADE Nationals.
After the agreements of the Board of Directors and the Plenary of the National Sports System (SINADE), Tabasco was established as the main venue and Nayarit, Morelos, Aguascalientes and Jalisco as sub-venues, in which Baja California is expected to offer a historic performance.
According to the call for the CONADE 2023 Nationals, Tabasco and Jalisco will be the States that receive the most disciplines with 14 each, while Nayarit will receive nine sports, Morelos six and Aguascalientes eight.
Baja California, which in the previous edition was state champion in seven sports, will seek this year to endorse the baseball and athletics titles in Tabasco, open water in Nayarit and rowing, fencing, men’s artistic gymnastics and field hockey in the State of Jalisco.
Through the Institute of Sport and Physical Culture (INDE), directed by Lourdes Cañez Martínez, Baja California has focused its work towards the following CONADE Nationals, for which reason it now carries out the state qualifiers to form the teams that will seek to reach to the national holiday
