Toshihiko Kuramoto, a baseball player from Chigasaki, held a fan meeting on January 14th at the Chigasaki Citizen’s Cultural Center, which was attended by about 300 people.

Kuramoto joined the team in 2015 and received a notice from Yokohama DeNA BayStars, which he belonged to for eight seasons, after the end of last season.

Although he admitted that he had received multiple offers about his future career, he said, “I can’t decide (where I belong).” On the other hand, he said, “I want to continue playing baseball,” and “I’m doing voluntary training in Hiratsuka City.”

At the lottery, Kuramoto delighted the fans who gathered from inside and outside the city by signing autographs for all the winners. At the end of the event, he said, “There were times when I thought about quitting baseball. But today, everyone gave me courage.” I want you to cheer me on,” and the biggest cheers and applause of the day were sent.
