The Turkish company Limak Construction has been chosen by Joan Laporta’s board to carry out the Camp Nou works. The remodeling work has already begun, with the demolition of the third stand of the Gol Sud, but the start date of the main work is in June, when the official competition of the first football team has finished.
Limak Construction, founded in 1976, is the second largest construction company in Turkey and is listed among the top 250 in the world in the Engineering News-Record (ENR) list. Airports, buildings, reservoirs, ports and bridges, among other infrastructures, make up the main catalog of their projects highlighted on the web, among which there is no sports facility.
