Thursday night’s game against the Titans left some doubts about the health status of some players for the upcoming games. To the injury of center Tyler Biadasz and the “scare” of quarterback Dak Prescott, is added the injury that linebacker Micah Parsons presents in his hand. However, it seems that none of them is cause for concern.
Let’s start with Tyler Biadasz. Late in the third quarter against the Titans, the center suffered an ankle injury that led to his exit from the game. Biadasz was even taken by cart to the locker room. And although the worst was expected, the medical evaluations on Friday gave good news.
An MRI reportedly revealed that Biadasz sprained his high ankle against Tennessee. In fact, the injury was less severe than initially expected. Although the center won’t play in Week 18 against Washington, the Cowboys estimate to have him back at the start of the postseason.
“We think (Biadasz) has a real chance to come back for our first playoff game.”Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said Friday. “He had that injury before on the same ankle, and believe it or not, when it’s the second time around, these guys tend to recover faster.”
Cowboys are upbeat today about center Tyler Biadasz’s outlook following an MRI this morning. He suffered a high ankle sprain in Thursday’s win over Titans, and the goal is for Biadasz to be available for the team’s first playoff game, person familiar with situation said.

As for Dak Prescott, there was some concern after he was seen limping after being sacked late in the second quarter against the Titans. In fact, the quarterback grabbed a knee after the play. However, soon after, the quarterback seemed to clear up the doubts with a nine-yard carry.
Despite this, it seems that there is nothing to worry about. This is how Jerry Jones, owner and general manager of the Cowboys, revealed it during a radio interview this Friday.
“It’s in good shape”Jones said of Prescott on 105.3 The Fan. “Maybe (his knee) hyperextended a little bit. We checked with the coaching staff on the sideline and we knew he was going to be fine.”
Along the same lines of thought, head coach Mike McCarthy confirmed Friday that Prescott did not suffer any major injuries.
“I don’t have any concerns regarding Dak”McCarthy said during a press conference.

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott did not miss an offensive snap Thursday vs. Titans but appeared to tweak his right knee at one point. Coach Mike McCarthy: “I don’t have any concern about Dak moving forward.”

Finally, another player that causes some concern for the next games is Micah Parsons. The linebacker trained on a limited basis before the game against the Titans due to a laceration on his left hand. However, Parsons played Thursday with a cast on that hand. As we saw, this did not prevent him from finishing the game with a recovered fumble, two quarterback hits and a tackle.
In this regard, Mike McCarthy also indicated that Parsons’ injury is not a concern for the next games.
“We hope that (the injury) is over this week, but no, I’m not worried”McCarthy said of Parsons Thursday night after the game against Tennessee.

Additionally, another player whose injury does not worry the team either is Tony Pollard. The running back was inactive against the Titans because of a hamstring injury that kept him from practicing during the week. And although Pollard expected to play, the coaching staff decided to rest him.
In this regard, Jerry Jones commented this Friday that Pollard could return for the week 18 game against the Commanders. However, this would depend on whether the Cowboys have something on the line in that game. Therefore, it will remain to be seen if the coaching staff could give him some snaps against Washington, or give him rest for the playoffs.

Although several key players are affected by injuries at the moment, it seems that the team can count on them for the playoffs. There, Dallas could not only count on Tyler Biadasz and Tony Pollard again, but also linebacker Leighton Vander Esch and defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins. For now, it remains to wait for what happens on Sunday with the Eagles to find out whether or not the Cowboys will rest their starters in week 18 against the Commanders.
