Three years after the first edition, the NBA Paris Game returned this Thursday to Bercy in front of 15,000 people for a meeting between Detroit and Chicago. The Bulls won 126-108 and negotiated their stay in the capital perfectly. Eobviously the evening will not go down in history in terms of play but especially for the American show which was proposed punctuated by multiple animations with the NBA Legends presented drop by drop starting by Tony Parker, Ronny Turiaf, Mickael Piétrus and Joakim Noah before continuing with Ben Wallace, Magic Johnson, Richard Hamilton but also a whole audience of celebrities ranging from local star Victor Wembanyama, to the 3 Formula 1 drivers, Esteban Ocon, Pierre Gasly and Charles Leclerc, to Aya Nakamura, Aurélien Tchouaméni or even Pharell Williams.
The Bulls without shaking
For his first since his injury, DeMar DeRozan led his team to victory with a serious game (26 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists). Nikola Vucevic, the most French of the Montenegrins and therefore very much in demand by the press since his team’s arrival on Monday, scored the first basket of the match to give his team the advantage before producing a solid match (16 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists).
