The Nîmes basketball community has not heard from Indja, the professional basketball player from Valdegour, specialist in 3×3 basketball, since last summer. Indeed, seriously injured in July, he was forced to give up all his sports activities because of the impossibility of using his completely immobilized right ankle.
“I’m better, assures the high-level athlete, in this month of January. My injury had worsened in the weeks following the accident because I took the seriousness of the injuries a little lightly. This resulted in new lesions. After several weeks of forced rest, I am gradually regaining the shape and use of my ankle.” This injury caused Indja’s morale to drop in the face of the obligation to stop all his sports activities.
“With low morale, I even stopped my job as a photo model for my main sponsor Sport 2000 Nîmes.” Today, the zup athlete is doing better and is slowly regaining morale: “ I come back, at most, at the end of winter or at the beginning of spring, he promises. I will resume my activities slowly, starting with those that do not require violent effort such as the organization of 3×3 basketball tournaments, or photos.
