The French Cup left one of the most violent scenes of the few days of 2023. In the match between Olympique de Marseille and Hyeres FC, for the round of 32 of the tournament, there was a criminal entry that took a footballer out in an ambulance.
Eric Bailly, from Marseille, tackled Almike Moussa N’Diaye very hard, with a violent kick to the chest, forcing him out of the game.
The player was transferred to the hospital and admitted to resuscitation this Saturday, after receiving the impact. The move was made as a precaution.
“More fear than harm, nothing serious, maybe a concussion,” assistant coach Zaki Noubir said in maritime radioAlso telling that the game was over, Bailly went to the locker room to find out about N’Diaye’s condition and leave his shirt so that they could give it to him when he recovered.
