Our German ex-tennis star Andrea Petkovic (35) has been in a happy relationship with US musician Jesse Kotansky (35) for four years. But things could have turned out very differently!
At a panel discussion in Dresden, “Petko” now reveals that she was once approached by none other than Hollywood star Jeff Goldblum (70, “Jurassic Park”) – but she dumped the star!

According to this, the actor tried to take Petkovic out for a date in 2007. She was only 19 at the time and was preparing for the US Open in New York. At five o’clock in the morning – Petkovic was training against jet lag – Goldblum flirted with her in the fitness room of her hotel.
The ex-tennis star: “I was approached by an older gentleman. He asked me, ‘What kind of exercises do you do?’”
Known from the big screen: Jeff Goldblum became world famous through the blockbusters “Independence Day” and “Jurassic Park”.
After the former world number ninth explained her exercises, Goldblum invited our ex-tennis ace to a meal!
“He said his favorite Thai restaurant was around the corner and if I didn’t want to come with him.” Petkovic declined because of the big age difference. Goldblum was 53 at the time and she was only 19 years old.

But the actor was probably quite taken with the German! The movie star found out her room number and says she kept calling her. The tennis ace refused again and again.
Irony of fate: Seven years later, Goldblum told a US talk show that he met his third wife Emilie Livingston (40) in a similar way!
He saw her at a gym and asked what exercises she was doing and then invited her to his favorite Thai restaurant. So the trick worked this time…
“No lie. I could be married to Jeff Goldblum. But I’m here, and that’s a good thing,” says Andrea Petkovic, who ended her active career in 2022.
And life with a musician is pretty good, isn’t it?
