Indoor and outdoor sports facilities in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province will be temporarily operated for the Lunar New Year holiday.
Yangju City Corporation (CEO Lee Heung-gyu) stopped operating indoor and outdoor sports facilities during the previous Lunar New Year holidays, but during this Lunar New Year holiday, some sports facilities (paid) are open and operated so that homecoming travelers and Yangju citizens can use them. It was announced on the 18th that it will be done.
The operated sports facilities are Baekseok Living Sports Park (Baekseok-eup) and Yangju Indoor Gymnasium (Samsung-dong). You can use soccer, baseball, and tennis at Baekseok Living Sports Park, and badminton and table tennis at Yangju Indoor Gymnasium.
Baekseok Life Sports Park is open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Yangju Indoor Gymnasium is open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
For Baekseok Sports Park, reservations must be made through the integrated reservation system of Yangju City Corporation, and Yangju Indoor Gymnasium can be used only after visiting the site and applying for it.
Reservations can only be made by Yang residents from the 17th to the 18th, and anyone can apply from the 19th to the 24th.
An official from Yangju City Corporation said, “There was a lot of demand from citizens who wanted to use sports facilities during the Lunar New Year holidays, so we decided to operate the facilities.”
