Scott Parker’s statements about ambitions raise eyebrows among many

Scott Parker will face his fifth game at Club Brugge this weekend. He currently only took three out of twelve.

The change of trainers at Club Brugge has not yet had the desired effect. Club Brugge fell out of the top four of the Jupiler Pro League last weekend due to AA Gent’s victory.

So there is still a long way to go to bring a new title to the Jan Breydel Stadium, if it is not already too late for that due to the gigantic lead of KRC Genk.

In any case, Scott Parker continues to look for the first win. “I feel progress, but the results must of course also come at a certain time,” Parker told Het Nieuwsblad.

Parker, however, focuses entirely on the double duel in the Champions League. “We will have plenty of work with that. There are still a lot of competitions and work to be done. But maybe it’s good that my players now have a clear goal.”
