The Carabinieri of the Operations Unit and Radiomobile of the Cammarata Company denounced SC, 36 years old from San Giovanni Gemini, for the unjustified carrying of objects capable of offending. The man, a worker, allegedly attacked a forty-three-year-old colleague from Catania with a baseball bat.
The incident took place in Piazza Maria Santissima Cacciapensieri, in the center of the Agrigento town. The motive behind the attack is unclear. The two began to argue and, after a not exactly friendly exchange of words, the younger one took the club trying to hit his rival.
The latter suffered minor injuries. The carabinieri intervened on the spot and avoided the worst and, after identifying the protagonists, proceeded to report the youngest.
