El Más Grande returned to training at River Camp after the day off following the return from the United States. The coaching staff had the presence of a new face within the squad.
The millionaire squad has already returned to the country and started the last stage of the preparation, before the start of the official competition. After two weeks of intense work in the United States, the coaching staff decided to give the players a day off to recover from the long flight. That is why this Friday afternoon they met again at the River Camp, on a gray and rainy day.
Regarding the news, Martín Demichelis was able to count on Enzo Díaz for the first time, third and brand new reinforcement of the Greatest. The left back from Talleres de Córdoba underwent a medical examination on Thursday morning and a day later he went to the Monumental to sign his contract. Hours later, he appeared before his new teammates and the coaching staff at River Camp, where he made his first physical movements.
With just over a week to go before the start of the official competition, Micho’s coaching staff will have more action over the weekend. The cast of Martín Demichelis will face Racing de Montevideo in another international friendly, this time at the Ezeiza premises and behind closed doors. The cast of Montevideo will arrive with several old acquaintances: Fernando Cavenaghi is the Manager of the club, while Gustavo Fermani -former DT of the Millionaire Reserve- is the DT of the first team.
