The Fiesta Bowl was one of the most exciting sports moments of the college bowl season where TCU gave the bell by beating Michiganbut one of the videos that viralized of said game itself did not happen on the playing field, since Robert Griffin III was in full broadcast when he ran out when he found out his wife was in labor.

RGIII was part of the “The Pat McAfee Show“, an alternate ESPN broadcast for the Fiesta Bowl, when late in the third quarter he received a phone call that he attended in the middle of the game.

His companions were somewhat puzzled by what he was doing and one of them asked him: “What are you doing? We’re in the middle of a game”; to which the former Washington QB in the NFL responded: “Alright guys. I have to go”.

His comment was not at all clear at first and it was possible to hear: “To the bathroom?”, so Griffin had to say that heThey had reported that his wife was in labor and he had to go with her. In the end, he gave all his teammates a hug and from one moment to the next he began to run, where the ESPN camera tried to chase him, but quickly lost sight of him.
