Rapperswil-Jona Lakers – HC Lugano on TV 24 and Ticker

The Rapperswil-Jona Lakers beat Lugano 5-2 in Sunday’s game and oust the ZSC Lions from third place in the table.

Before the duel against Lugano, Rapperswil-Jona had lined up five wins, the Bianconeri four. So it was clear that a series would come to an end. The home team owed the fact that that of the Lakers continued to the strong majority game. So Cervenka is well on the way to qualifying as top scorer for the second time in a row.

The Lakers have been the measure of all things in the National League since the turn of the year. They won seven of eight games and also scored points in the defeat against Davos (4:5 nP). They also won the last game in 2022 against Zug (4:3 nP). Only leader Genève-Servette has fewer points lost than Rapperswil. Although Lugano lost, it showed that the trend is right. With five against five field players, the guests were the better team.
