Portimonense fined 6,120 euros for “lack of collaboration with sports justice” – Portimonense

Théo Fonseca, a shareholder of the club, will have to pay €610 for carrying out business activities while he is a manager

Portimonense was ordered to pay 6,120 euros and faces disciplinary proceedings due to “lack of collaboration with sports justice”. In turn, Theodoro Fonseca, a shareholder of the Algarve emblem, was fined 610 euros by the Disciplinary Board of the Portuguese Football Federation for exercising the activity of a businessman while he was a sports manager. It should be recalled that the Commission of Instructors of the League proposed archiving the investigation process in November last year, but the CD rejected the proposal and requested that the organization carry out “instructional steps” to investigate facts conveyed in the media, namely the involvement of Theodoro Fonseca in several transfers. At the beginning of January, the Commission of Instructors presented a new final report, again proposing to close the investigation process. The Brazilian leader, it should be noted, was one of the targets of the computer hacker Rui Pinto, through documents revealed by the ‘Football Leaks’ platform.
