MMA wrestler Zdeněk Polívka announced shocking news to the sports world. The popular wrestler was preparing for another match under the Oktagon organization, he was supposed to fight in February in Munich. However, now everything is different, after several years he is leaving his gym, so he had to cancel the match.
Polívka and the Oktagon organization did not disclose further information. What led Polívka to a fundamental decision remains a mystery. The wrestler’s performances in the cage were rather victorious, but he recorded his last loss in front of his partner, the singer Lucie Vondráčková.

“Zdeněk Polívka is leaving the gym for which he has wrestled in recent years and cannot play in Munich without full preparation. The match is therefore canceled by agreement. You can look forward to Game Over in the spring,” read the statement posted by the Oktagon organization on its social networks. The fact that Polívka leaves Říčany after years of Cage Warriors is a mystery to many. He often appeared with his trainers outside of the combat environment. Polívka’s partner Lucie Vondráčková also appeared very often with a group of fighters and trainers. She always had a great time in the presence of her friends.

I’ve been thinking about this for a long time, and I thought I’d last a month until the match. But the way things are, the change had to come immediately. I still have the the highest goals and this step was necessary for my progress and overall growth. Also as a person. Training in the former gym did not fulfill me for a long time and I did not feel progress. So it was time to look for a new team, sparring partners, energy, motivation and blood in my veins. Is Vondráčková behind it?
Under Polívka’s post, speculation immediately began to form about what led him to this decision. The fans did not even spare Vondráčková herself. “He grew a crush on Vondráčková,” appeared in one of the comments, while another contained, for example, “That Vondráčková again… she’s killing those athletes.” Hana Mašlíková, a model and partner of one of the most famous MMA trainers André Reinders, also rushed to comment. She left a message for Polívka in the form of smileys clapping her hands and a four-leaf clover. Under her comment, fans began to speculate that Polívka will head to her partner’s gym. Reinders gym has the best wrestlers, so it would be a real challenge for Polívka.
